He felt like he was on cloud nine, over the moon at the thought of finally being a father. Soon enough he and Imena would be parents. Ever since she told him he had been a strange mix of excitement and worry. If they were still within the safety of Valhalla he knew his worry would not be nearly as pronounced. Of course there were always complications to worry about, but now he worried about the simple well being of his mate and their growing children. It was no secret that he wasn't the strongest fighter nor a fantastic hunter and because of this he wondered if he could take care of his family on his own. That was the thought that plagued him as he padded back toward Imena with his hard earned rabbit hanging from his jaws, following her scent to find her resting beneath one of the many willow trees. He gently sat the meal at her paws with a loving smile before laying down beside her and tenderly licking her cheek. "How are you feeling, love?" he asked softly, keeping his worries to himself for now. He didn't want his thoughts to way down on her as well.
