Meeting Future Mother-in-Law

Completely still like a statue, a light colored female sat upon the riverbank at the bottom of the falls. Ears had been placed carefully atop her skull, openings opposite each other. Demeanor was relaxed, tail laying over her paws. When it came to her expression however, it was contorted, wrinkled in displeasure. The girl was trying to hone her hearing, for she knew that her nose would not always be reliable, especially when in or near water or downwind of somebody. That is why she chose this spot claimed by the pack she would now call home with Faolan, he said it was called Sunset Falls, a waterfall.

"Deep breaths darling, you can do it." Baritone tone would speak up, the pile of black fur beside the female shifting, a head poking out and giving an assuring smile. His paw would slip out from beneath his tail and settle gentle on hers, giving it a soft pat before pulling back beneath his tail as well as his head.

Enola features softened at her companion's voice, head turning to her left and tilting downward to stare blindly at Pluto. He would would try to calm her frustrations, assuring her she could do this. It made her dark lips turn in a sweet smile, taking in a deep breath at his patting. He was right, she just needed to take deep breaths and let herself go then she would be able to focus. One nod of her head and she would lift her head and turn it back to its original position, re-closing her eyes and taking a breath. If she could drown out the waterfall here, then she shouldn't have trouble with blocking out other loud noises anywhere else.
