It was with a jaunty step that Satu had bounced up to the starting line. The festival had been good for her, a chance to get out and have some adventure as she so craved but in a setting that also allowed her to satisfy her duties by representing her pack there. Then she'd heard the call for the races and it had been even more exciting. She'd missed the spars by a few days apparently, which was a disappointment. But really she had no training for fighting anyway, whereas she spent quite a lot of her time running around so she should be pretty good at it at this point. Her opponent was a packmate she'd never really interacted with before, and what better time to meet someone than right before you made them eat your dust? With a friendly grin she stepped up beside the russet and white girl and got herself set. |
