She was broken. Shattered. Even if her wounds were treated, scarred over... the pain they gave her, that mental pain, lingered full force in her mind. It drove the small femme to solitude. After getting help from Nalyda and her mate, such kind souls, Akemi needed time to regain her courage. She was a monster now... a sight others would look at with pity and or disgust. She was no longer a creature of beauty. Missing her right eye, most of her ears, her tail.... various scars upon her face. What had her life turned to? Was this only the start of her life going downhill? The massive male's warning stuck in her mind, and the girl would swallow hard. For once Akemi was afraid of another living being. She had been bested. Beaten down and forced into submission.

The small femme curled up in a ball, hidden underneath a bush on the island. She shuddered, feeling safe only in areas she felt too small for that massive wolf to get to her. He haunted her dreams, turning them into nightmares. Gods what was happening to her? Where was that fire? That spark? Single eye would squeeze tightly closed. She hated this feeling. She had to think of some way... some way to get back at him. To win... to take back her life.
