All this time and she still had to yet to formally meet Twig. She had seen the woman several times at meetings, but they had yet to actually meet. She would leave the forest behind in favor of the grassy plains. She would not summon the woman to her, but simply made a note to seek her out. For at the moment, too much swarmed her mind. Since her meeting with Cru, she had felt different. She couldn't put her paw on it just yet, but something inside her had changed. It was too early to know if she was pregnant, but she wasn't in her season so she doubted it was even possible. Perhaps she should talk to Ekko or Maija about it. The more she thought about it, Ekko was probably a bad idea. The petite woman already disliked the Cru, there was no reason to give her another reason to dislike the man just yet. Nevertheless a small smile toyed on her features. Ekko would love any kids she had, there was no doubt about that.
Haunches reclined within the heart of the plains, her verdant gaze sweeping the land around her. Her expression was thoughtful. Perhaps she should share her concerns with Cru. But then she didn't want to worry him if she was wrong. For now the woman decided to keep this to herself, at least until she was one hundred percent sure. So absorbed in her thoughts, she failed to noticed the approach of another. |
