Odette couldn't help but smile as Crucifix confirmed his happiness for his land choices. His tail gently wagged behind her as he spoke, making Odette prouder than she had been before. He then spoke of how he hoped Solstice would provide for her future and she couldn't help but agree. She firmly nodded before saying, "I know it will, Cru. I want Solstice to be a cornerstone of my past for my future...with you and Sibelle in charge, I will be able to withstand anything." Cru appeared to realize that he had formally spoken, so he changed his tune and offered a fishing trip. Her smile widened and she hungrily nodded. "You don't know how great that sounds right now." Her stomach had been growling, but not loud enough for anyone to notice. She rose from her haunches and began to walk towards the nearby lake. Once she felt Crucifix beside her, she started to speak. "How many different kinds of fish are there in the lake?" She hadn't been fishing in awhile, so knowing more about her prey would come in handy. "Speech" |
