It was his son, F?licien that was the first to respond, he could hear the boy?s call to them. Gitan had left the den only a bit earlier, lazing in the early morning sun just a ways off. A proud smile spread across his face as he rose to his paws. The man stretched, relishing once more into the summer heat, and moved off to join answer Novella?s call. Forest orbs scanned the gathering as he approached, landing solidly on Novella and her mate. Gitan gave them a gracious nod in greeting before moving off towards his son. The man seated himself beside F?licien and flashed the boy a grin. It still felt weird, his children had grown seemingly overnight, or at least for how long it had taken him to return home, and while that was the strangest for him, the seemingly sudden changes thrust upon him after his return had left much of his head spinning.
