He knew beyond a doubt that the woman before him was dangerous, but there had been a time when Crucifix had considered himself more then capable to play the game with a dangerous woman. Had his mistakes with Sibelle and Vi undone that coy nature and roguish smile that use to be his playground? He turned his gears, thinking rapidly within the moments that Cat turned her own dangerous smile onto the brute. He loved Sibelle, and he did not want to betray her, and for that matter he would fight for her honor and body with his own life if it came down to that. But he also had the pack, his Solstice to look after, and he would not face down this woman from a side of weakness, he knew she would only prey upon such things. He raised his eyebrows at the woman then, as his tail gave a slow swish behind his backside he would stretch his paws outwards subtly in a stretch, a coy smile taking hold on his own lips as he put himself as a player in the game Cat played.
The outside Queen would continue on in drawn out tones, the venom in her voice barely concealed with sickly sweetness as she spoke of friends and enemies. It was his play in the game of words and he would upturn one lip in his own version of a dangerous smile ?A worthy endeavor? he mused, slipping once more into the wolf he had been when he had asked Vi for one lick of her raspberry coat... ?Your a newborn queen now in a new world, all the packs that had reigned along with you are gone or changed, are they not?? he continued, pretending to muse out loud as he fully relaxed his stance and loosened his paws before taking his own step closer to the silver bitch. ?so you have come here, ?perhaps? to learn of my worth, and what in turn do you have to show of your strengths, My Lady? I have a full fledged pack settled into this world. I have already begun the play of friends, and have standings in some of the new born packs in this world. Perhaps a friendship with me might reap its own benefits? he drawled, dropping the girl a wink as he flicked his tail behind himself once more.
