Mist clung to her form making her invisible till she stood right before him and Novocaine fought the instinct to suddenly backpedal; a startled hiss sliding out from barred canines. The bitch was wearing a grin upon her visage and he was overcome with the urge to tear it from her face. But he forced his expression into a controlled grimace, flicking his gaze away from her as she spoke. Growls rumbled in his throat but he kept them from escaping his lips. He was going to have to be smart with his answer, something he wasn?t exactly good at.
?Artemis was weak.? He began stating it simply. ?She proved useless in both her endeavor and my own.? He smirked that at least was a truth. ?I needed something, someone stronger.? That was a half-truth, she had proved to be the only one even semi-useful but as for if he thought her any stronger than Artemis? Well he was still working on that one.
