As a loud bark was heard, the black bird startled, looking down to see a wolf rubbing his body against trees. Narrowing his yellow eyes, B watched the strange wolf curiously. He said his name was Sal, and asked if he had been missed. The crow racked his brain to think of this dark wolf, but he could not remember him. Hopping a few branches lower until he was just about above his head level. "Oi, B did not miss you because B does not know who Sal is! B has never seen Sal before, silly woof, caw!" B was quite good at remembering faces of all these wolves who ruled these lands, and his he did not. Shuffling along his branch, he lowered his head to look at the wolf closer. "Nope! B does not recognize Sal, nope nope! Silly silly woof, thinking B knows you! How can B miss what B doesn't know? Silly!" He called, his tail feathers wiggling around happily at his own joke. Yes, the ebony bird was having a blast with all of these wolves. He had no friends or family to hang around and talk to, so all these wolves would just have to do.
