Time to heal and a time to let go

Nona felt the woman's shoulder brush against her. The gesture brought a slight bit of relief to Nona's mind when she heard the woman, Myth, asking her if she would like to talk about it. Doing her best to try and catch her tears before speaking took in a breath before letting her lips part "I must look like a mess... but yes it may do me some good to have someone to talk to about this... well it was awhile ago when I was still traveling the lands, I came across someplace called the Red Forest and met who I believed at the time was the kindest man in the world, I thought my search was at its end to have somewhere to belong, but well it seems it was all just a lie, perhaps I'm just a young naive stupid girl who doesn't know if love is true or not" Nona was quick to blame herself for not seeing what would come from August.

Taking in another deep breath before speaking again she leaned against Myth. The support was more welcome to her than anything "and now that I have a home, seeing others falling in love, having someone special to spend their time with... it makes me hurt deep inside to not have that, to not know what its like to be happy, to have someone who loves you and supports you...I know I should be happy they have someone to share their life with... but I also want to be happy too... and to not be alone anymore..." The tears came once more to Nona's eyes. Losing all words to say now as she turned her head to place against Myth's shoulder. Perhaps there would be someone out there for her but Nona lost her sight in what it was to know what love like that was. She pulled her face away from Myth's shoulder before letting something slip from her lips "I'm sorry...I shouldn't be bothering you with something like this..." tears came ever the more strongly as she lowered her gaze to her own paws. Myth was so kind to her already giving her a shoulder to cry on, Nona couldn't ask for anything more than that.
