Part of him yearned to run up towards the north to see his family against but he knew he would not end up pursuing such an adventure. He had a job, a duty within himself, to stay in Abaven and keep close to the lands that he would call home until a day should arise that he must leave. He knew that such days would not be coming soon and that idea had calmed his wanderlust. Bad things could happen if he accidentally wandered too close to an enemy or towards the battlefield. These terrible things could be amplified because he was just a pup and he did not know how to fight, at least not properly. He had been attempting to teach himself some moves based off of things he had seen but he was coming up a bit short.

The white ghost with grey rings about his icy blue eyes was sitting next to his best friend Vivianna. She was no wolf, she was a pale, almost white, clouded leopard cub that was growing just as he was. He would shoot her a smile as he thought about asking her what she wanted to do. He stared at the rapids which he was near. He reflected on when he had tried to jump across them. That had surely been a happy day for him because that was the day that Bass had offered to be his mentor when he came of age and that was the day that Darrah knew his home was always going to be Abaven.

He would rise, his limbs stiff from the day before, from his sitting position until he was standing up. He would give his coat a small shake as he grinned at Vivi. "So Vivi, where do you want to go today? We could do another round of running and bouncing off stuff or we could hunt or something. Maybe we could go see Bass or Levi? I don't think that you've met them yet." He would offer to her with a slight frown. He really wanted her to meet Ixionn, well... maybe not Ixionn. He really wanted her to meet Renhet and Aiko but they were all in the north with Quelt and he could not spare another adventure there. It had not been long enough since his return from his mother's grave. Oh what to do. Perhaps he could spare a visit?

His spotted companion could see the torn feelings in his eyes. "Why don't we go for a walk around the border Dar. You look like you need to talk about something." Her words were soft with her alto voice as she started to walk, making it clear that it was not up for debate and that he was going to talk about what was bothering him. He sighed in defeat as he followed the rapids to the border and started to talk to his friend. "It's just that I really miss them all. I miss Renhet and Aiko and Quelt. To heck, I even miss Ixionn despite his lack of understanding why I left. I feel like I shouldn't be constantly running up there to visit them. I mean, it's dangerous because what if I run into an enemy or end up lost in the battlefield? I guess I'm just slightly torn up about what to do. I'm happy for Quelt because he's living his dream, but I wish they were all still here in Abaven." He would confess in a normal voice, which was easy to overhear if one was nearby, as he waited for Viv to respond to him.
