She has no time to react before the wolverine releases her grip on her scruff and her claws release her flesh, her small form falling toward the earth and bounding away from the fight. Fiamette feels a sense of pride wash over her, but her victory is short lived, as now she has to deal with the massive beast. His shoulder comes straight for her, and she tucks her chin and pulls herself toward her left in an attempt to have him miss the center of her throat. Instead his shoulder smacks into the left portion of her chest, her eyes clenching as she fights back the howl of pain that lurks behind her tongue. Her eyes snap open again, her volcanic orbs trailing upwards as she makes a seconds time decision. His throat is danging right above her, and she immediately gapes her jaws wide open, and goes for a bite in the center of his exposed throat. In sync with her bite she attempts to shove herself upwards into his chest, hoping to use her body weight and sudden movement to push him over or away from her.
