What Have I Missed?

Pandora had been sniffing, looking for any signs of Maija's beautiful existence. Alas, nothing really stuck out to the cobalt beauty that signified her mother's presence. Hope was about to be dashed, when it was cast aside by something totally distracting. A large mound of snow leaped up from the ground, only to grow legs and firmly stand a few feet from her. Pandora watched with fascination as her own legs slowed their walk. The snow mound continued to grow, sprouting dark ears and bright green eyes. When a muzzle broke through the snow, Pandora's heart jumped. It was a snow puppy!
The pup shook off all of the present fur and showed her defenses, something Pandora had been used to seeing from Maija whenever Taurig's name had been brought up. If she had been bigger, Pandora would have been afraid, even petrified, but this time it didn't happen. Instead, she could only think one thing: cuuuute! The pup's fur was sticking out on all ends, making her look crazy with her small incisors bared. Pandora raised an eyebrow to the little girl and spoke, Romanian accent slightly thicker than before due to her age. "Hello, young lady. I hope I didn't scare you." She had the faint scent of Maija upon her body, despite the snow wetting her fur and the layers beneath.
