To fight that pitiful Solstice wolf... What right had that old white female to claim a young pup. He would have been raised to be soft, just as every other damn child born in that pack. They were spoiled brats. What was a pack worth if it only wanted peace. There was no such thing in this world. The harlot was distracted from her endless compilation of thoughts by her queen's words. They were of harsh reality. The harlot was no nurse, indeed, and she could only lower her head and pin her ears back. "M'Queen. I do not." Amethysts dulled in a small portion of regret and distaste in her decisions, but the harlot knew that some fury raged in her heart. "Cateleya. You didn't have to fight for a scrap of meat." To be honest, that wasn't how the harlot had felt. In the reality of her thoughts, the harlot had wanted to fight herself. She had wanted to make a Solstice wolf bleed. But that would have to wait until this shit was figured out. That scent had been so familiar, for some odd reason. It was the stench of Solstice wolves. One amongst them of that russet bitch's. "She was one of them." That was why the queen had fought to contest that claim. That white woman had been of Solstice, and the queen had fought for what would've turned for the worse in the fleshling that she had been keeping warm in the midst of it. He had a lot of potential, and screw it all; it would've been wasted. Right now, too. There was no method of keeping him fed. He would perish. It was for the better, somewhat. But maybe the silver queen had a plan for this pup. Maybe. The golden woman that she knew by the name of Maija appeared, unknowing of what scent wreathed them both, but most dominantly the silver queen. The harlot could only wait. my actions | my words | my thoughts |
