Be Not Afraid, Come Follow Me

His sister had mentioned that one of the options for taking the kids away would be to the north, where Falk was, but the direction in which they were headed didn't feel like where Falk would be. Had she another place in mind that she hadn't mentioned to him? He would push his questions aside, quietly following behind her, making sure to keep his nieces and nephew between himself and Sibelle. It was a long ways from where they'd been staying before, so the little group had to take breaks every so often so that the children wouldn't be too exhausted. The cobalt beast had acted as a walking heater, warming up the pups each time they rested, making sure that they didn't get too cold before they actually reached their destination.
A nostalgic feeling washed over Taurig as they moved through the northern region, snow crunching with a old familiarity beneath his worn paws. It had been so long since he had been in the northern regions of Alacritis. He hadn't realized how much he missed being in the cold and surrounded by miles and miles of pristine snow. The air was so much crisper up here and he could feel his mind clear all the better as they trudged along. How he had missed the North. Before long he could hear his sister's pace slow down, the scent of a female teasing his nostrils. Her scent didn't seem very familiar but it had a touch of his adopted sister Chrysanthe's clinging to it. Was this woman related to Chrysanthe in some manner? He would stand quietly behind Sibelle as she introduced the children, noticing that the woman's name was Odette. Odette...It didn't really ring a bell but he felt like it was supposed to. After little Red had finished with her introductions he would step forward, inclining his head ever so slightly to the young woman. It's a pleasure to meet you miss Odette, my name is Taurig. I am brother to Sibelle and uncle to her children...If I may be so bold, did you know a Chrysanthe Adravendi by chance? She was my adopted sister through a woman named Erani. Milky eyes would search the area he hoped Odette's eyes to be, wondering if he could be mistaken in his assumption to her relation to Chrysanthe.
