PERSONALITY
Excitable, Energetic, Fiery, Fearless, Imaginative

Lorelei has a passion and a energy for life that is unparalleled. She naturally has boundless energy that doesn't fail even as she gets older and grows out of the typical energetic puppy phase. As long as she has a task or an activity to focus that energy into she's fine, but it is the times that she doesn't that she has the potential to be destructive to herself or others. She would never intend to hurt someone emotionally or physically without reason to, but at times when she has no purpose to devote herself to she will go out of her way to run recklessly or to pick fights with others. She also has a tenancy to get frustrated when she can't find an outlet to let out her energy and can become irritable and unpleasant to be around, but these moments are very rare.

At times she can have a bit of a temper, but it tends to flare out as quickly as it begins. It might show itself in a quick, snide comment or even just a shooting glare at whomever she is angry at, but she quickly moves on and never holds grudges unless she has been severely hurt by someone. Because of her endless energy she tends to have a short attention span, her mind frittering from one thing to another, which is another reason why her anger is so quick and fleeting.

Lore is incredibly imaginative and loves to learn. Learning and studying is often how she finds a constructive use for her energy even though she often will tire out her teachers and mentors. She's always full of questions, but she struggles at times with the urge to assume her own answers to questions and often has to be corrected since her assumptions are almost always wrong. However, once she learns something she will always remember it. She has an impressive memory, lending itself well to her studies. She also loves to hear and tell stories. Very little will make her sit still, but a good story will do just the thing.

Fear is not a word that Lorelei recognizes. There is not a shred of fear or hesitation in any of her actions or behaviors. This makes her headstrong in the truest since of the word, but it can also make her appear ignorant when she leans her body out over a cliff face to get a better look at the water or whenever she wanders alone at night. A small dose of fear is healthy, but Lore lacks even the most basic of fears that others keep in order to survive. Her heart might pound when going into a fight or when confronted with a predator, but to her this is not fear, but excitement.

RP SAMPLE

The moon was high in the sky, the moonlight shining down and lighting up the path she was currently following though the forest. A bright, light tune flowed out into the air around her as she hummed in time with her paws beating against the ground. If her pace changed so did the tempo of her song. Currently she was moving at a light jog, making her hum a quick, lilting tune. Suddenly the land in front of her ended in a sudden, sheer cliff and she skidded to a halt just in time to watch several small rocks trickle down the side of the cliff. She whistled in amazement at the distance of the drop, leaning out into open air and peering down to watch the waves smack against the rocky shore. The cold breeze sweeping up from the ocean ruffled her monotone coat and she narrowed her eyes to keep it from drying them out. She wondered what it would be like to leap from here and jump down into the water... but the water was sure to be way too cold and how would she even get back up from there?

She shrugged and stepped back from the edge and turned around so the cliff was behind her and she was facing the forest she had been walking through. Her mismatched gaze squinted through the darkness while she tried to decide where to go next. She had been wandering around for what seemed like months now. She had seen so much of this place called Alacritis, but she needed to do something new. She wanted to learn something, but she needed someone who knew things to teach her to be able to do that. She huffed irritably and frowned. What to do, what to do... She glanced back over her shoulder at the sea behind her... Nahhhh, not worth it.
