Nearing the border, Valentine raked an assessing gaze over the visitor. Calling her skinny was an understatement. Her coat lacked shine and her features were gaunt. All in all she was a sorry sight. Still, he would give her a chance. Perhaps she would surprise him.

"Greetings," he boomed, stopping just inside Imperium's border. "My name is Valentine and I am the alpha here." Was she looking to join? Seeking aid? Hopefully she was doing better than her appearance suggested or he might be dealing with a corpse in a bit. "What can I do for you on this fine day?"
