Walk | Talk | Think The little grey and lavender wolf felt as much as heard the chuckle that whispered from her brother, half smiling to herself at her ability to humor him. It was always a good day when she could make the rest of them smile, especially when it was intentional. She drew in a deep breath and released it in a heavy sigh as he asked about waking her, and unwilling to lie to him, she mumbled, "A little," through his fur, refusing to move in order to make her speech more coherent. Despite being roused from sleep, having Glacier beside her was terribly comfortable, and Gale did not want to risk her chance of falling asleep cozily at his side because of having to make herself heard. If she kept this up, maybe he would even stop talking and let her sleep more. But sleep was the last thing on his mind, it seemed. In fact, it was something else entirely, something that he had to tell her then he wished to share with her, but only after she had woken up. A pale, grey-green eye cracked open narrowly, curiosity getting the better of her. Just what had Glacier found that he needed to wake her up in order to show her then rather than wait for morning to fully come and she wake up on her own? Assuming it must have been something important - boy, it better have been - Gale shifted to stretch, murmuring, "I'm awake," as she finished her stretch and drew herself still sleepily to her paws. There could always be time for a nap later. |
