The gathering was small, but it wasn't disappointing. Odette knew that since the pack was new, the numbers wouldn't be that big. She looked at everyone as they came, each face either familiar or unrecognizable. They would each be greeted as they appeared, first being Sibelle and her family. Introductions would be made and Odette couldn't help but grin. "Hello, you three. Your mama has told me so much about you guys...I am so glad you came with her." Taurig then rose from one of Sibelle's sides, greeting her with his own introduction. She dipped her maw to his blind gaze and then he asked her a question that almost made her heart stop. Ears perked forward and bi-colored gaze wavered with misty tears before she nodded and blinked them away. "Yes, actually, Taurig. She is my mother...she adopted me when I was six months old." Her sadness left and a euphoric smile took over before she softly cleared her throat. "I had no idea we were connected by the Adravendis, Taurig. It really is a pleasure to meet you." As he moved to sit beside Sibelle, the once familiar face of Sage appeared from out of nowhere. Her eyes widened and she couldn't help but bark in his direction. "Sage!" she cried happily, memories of playing at the beach washing over her mind. They would have to catch up for sure, but only after this meeting was through. It really felt good to see him again. Miksa appeared, quiet like his mother. He gave her attention for a brief minute before settling into the snow nearby. Odette saw a lot of potential in the growing boy and hoped that he wouldn't disappoint her as he continued to learn within Glaciem. All in due time, of course. Once Odette was sure that everyone who would come was there, she gave one final glance over and began to speak. "Welcome, everyone. I am Odette Adravendi, Alphess of Glaciem." She wasn't sure if everyone was aware of Solstice being renamed, so she gave an explanation. "Solstice was renamed and relocated shortly after I was given the Alpha title, explaining why our new location is here in the North." Odette then smiled and said, "This meeting is to officially establish the pack's existence. I am happy to see everyone here and I can only hope that our pack will grow and blossom into the potential that Glaciem has for us."
