It hurt, through she would never say it, that all he could say was that he wanted to be with Shaye. Maybe her hidden question had been to vague, when she had asked if he was returning as Shaye's father.. and nothing more and it seemed that his words where in agreement to this. Pushing away the feeling of a breaking heart she kept her expression neutral, she had to think about Shaye too, even if that was all that was important to this loved stranger, then it would be enough to keep them in each others lives. She found herself nodding her head in acceptance – she had no idea what Bass, or even Rhythm thought of this, but surely they would both understand that he was Shaye's father. There little girl would then catch wind of the situation and her bright blue eyes would be looking up at her, asking if it was true. There was nothing she could deny her child, and she lowered her head to nuzzle against Shaye's neck “Thats right, sweetie, he's coming with us” she agreed, looking up at Shai as she spoke. "Speech" |
