and it's our time now if you want it to be, maul the world like a carnival bear set free

The violet babe was feeling bored once more, she wanted to go on another adventure. She wanted to see something really cool, or meet someone who looked like her. There were no wolves who had purple fur like her, except for the ones she was related to. Was she a freak? The thought frightened the lavender darling, who was absently staring at her alabaster toes while she shuffled through the dark sand. Mismatched optics were firmly fixed on wanting to look down, watching the sand fall away from her toes like waves. Two little trenches were following in her wake, as she slowly dug herself into ever deeper furrows in the sand. Would she get buried? Who would save her? Momma and mommy were off somewhere again, and Milli was sleeping. So was her poor sickly sibling. When would they ever wake up? This was a serious concern of hers, and had taken to filling her mind in all the time spent sitting around doing nothing because she was too little.

The soft shush, shush, shush of the sea was something she'd come to know as well as her own mother's heartbeat. However, the heavy footfalls of a stranger were very new to her. Her muzzle rose slowly, brows furrowed in confusion. Her two toned gaze fell upon a stranger, with golden and grey fur. A small gasp escaped her as she registered the immense size of the wolf. He was huge! Suddenly, the need to dig herself into a rut for kicks and giggles was gone, and she was bounding gaily across the ebony sands to investigate. Wait, would this big wolf try and eat her away? Make stew out of her, even? A sudden flash of determination sparked in her chest, and she held her head high, little purple tail curling over her hips confidently. Of course not, she would fight the giant off before that happened!

"Who're you?" She asked rather bluntly, her childish vocals impossibly loud in the comparative silence of the overcast afternoon. The petite wolflet halted just behind the stranger, extremely tempted to pounce on his tail and see what happened. Not many boy wolves were in her life, and she was always wondering why she was so lacking in that department. Did momma and mommy hate boys? She didn't mind them, they weren't so bad, as far as she could tell.
