It was a strange process but slowly but surely Archelaus was adjusting to life here. He'd learnt to cope with his father's disappearance, though perhaps that moment in fact had been the initial point the boy had begun to bottle up his own emotions. Seeing his mother upset had been horrible for him. None would ever see him so vulnerable and suffer for it. A rather noble concept really for one so young, though it had meant very quickly he'd become the coldest of the four boys.

In such a pent up and confused state of mind it probably wasn't really the silver brother that Vitus needed right now though it seemed that was who he was going to end up with. Archie's own walk had been fuelled by boredom. He was perfectly content to simply lounge around sometimes but in this new land even he had an urge to wander around to help get accustomed to the place. Thanks to a wake up call from Bacchus in the middle of the night (something he still wasn't overly happy about) he had learnt the Springs were better at night, especially the cooler pools. His path had taken him around the Springs now though and he would continue until he found somewhere nice to rest for a while.

At least that was the plan until he heard a growl. He was allowed to be here so what was the growling about? Red eyes scanned the lands until he spotted the culprit. His own brother, though his agitation was aimed at one of the pools rather than Archie himself. Changing his course of direction, the boy would navigate around the various pools until at last he found himself standing on the opposite side of the one Vitus had selected to attack. Something seemed to be bothering him. Was it too late to just clear off and leave him to it? Yes, and he did care really just wasn't exactly the best at helping anyone feel better nor was he comfortable attempting. "Fishing? You might want to try a different tactic, and a different water source too. I don't think there are any in here." He would peer into the water at that moment, as much for the benefit for his words as it was to avoid his brother's gaze.
