Rhythm would lie down beside him and begin to explain, a deep breath introducing her story. Nagendra listened with interest. Surprise struck his face momentarily when she mentioned Valentine. He didn’t know how to feel about it. There was a brief flash of distant betrayal and jealousy, and then reason swept in. Nagendra wasn’t even one to care much for commitment, and if Valentine had laid with him – a perfect stranger – he probably didn’t either. His absorbed expression would then briefly change, a light smirk dancing across his face as his smooth voice would inquire, ”And does this mean you’re off the market?”
