Wrong Place, Wrong Time

"You should leave, if an earthquake happens there's no telling if it would swallow you up."
Pale blue eyes lifted immediately from looking at his own paws (had to make sure they stayed planted, after all!) and the owner of the voice that had so suddenly cropped up. She seemed to have come from no where at all, but in all fairness Mikhail hadn't been paying very close attention to his surroundings at the moment. Who - or what - his pale eyes fell on prompted him to freeze for a fraction of a second. She was absolutely immense. Sure, Mikhail was leggy and tall, but she was easily a head taller than him. And so strikingly-marked. Peculiar. But not ugly, he would muse to himself. A smile formed promptly on the man's pale muzzle, his dark lips stretching a bit thin; it was the smile of a stressed animal... but he meant it, even so.
"Thank you, Madam," he bowed his head deeply before daring to stand up straight again and giving his pelt a quick shake so his fur stood out on end. "I appreciate the advice. Should you not also be going? That is- have you stopped just to tell me this, Frau?" He would ask, head canting toward her curiously. He might've guessed something was wrong with such a quiet place... somewhere so barren.
