Rhythm had grown up with th examples of relationships were completely faithful to one another. As far as she knew her parents and grandparents had only been with one partner their whole lifetime. For her whole life that was what she saw herself living. Being here though and getting close to both Valentine and Kyarst, she could see how easy it might be to slip from that vision.

Valen didn't hesitate to answer, she wouldn't flinch having expected it. Did it bother her? "It's kind of relieving actually." She'd felt a little guilty about her feelings for Kyarst, not that she'd admitted it to herself until now. How about an explanation? "I mean, it did bother me. Not that I let myself think about it."
