When the alpha went on to ask about her willingness to learn she felt a little relieved. He wasn't turning her away yet so that had to be a good sign, right? The fact that he not only wasn't turning her away, but also said she seemed to have a lot to offer blew her away. She was so used to others first responses being that of sympathy or offers to help that his responding to her like she was anyone else meant so much. She could already tell she was going to like it here... that is if he agreed to let her stay. She nodded and replied, "Of course. I really just haven't had anyone to teach me more up to this point. My father and my adoptive mother of sorts taught me all they could of course, but they were never pack wolves themselves and really only knew basics and still had to figure out how to teach a blind pup, you know." She smiled and her tail wagged slowly behind her. "But yes, I am eager to learn and I will do anything I can to help out. It might take me a little longer to do things than most, but I usually figure it out." |
