A level head seemed to have returned to Novella's shoulders now as well. Those depressive thoughts had crept away and scurried back were those more protective ones of typical motherly worries. Leaving her children alone for too long was of course a concern even in the pack lands and whilst they could have happily stayed here for longer it was time to head back. "I'm afraid you'll have to." Novella reminded him softly, nudging him gently. "Come on, we'll walk slowly." It was as much of a consolation as she could offer, slipping free from his side after one last kiss and making her way back towards the tunnel.
