Summer had been awful. Had he been a little younger and at a more immature age, chances were Archie would have ran, or rather slumped around declaring that he was melting. Instead he had spent as much of it as he could quietly suffering as he lazed around attempting to find the coolest places to hide and escape the heat of the sun and missing the cool comfort of the snow. He had survived though, just about made it through the hottest season and perhaps another year coping with the different temperature and the boy wouldn't suffer quite so much.
Autumn still wasn't as cool as he wanted it to be of course, though after the Summer it was a relief as the temperatures began to drop. It hadn't made him any better though of course, the boy was still feeling rather sluggish and lazy in general. He had come to quite like doing nothing. For example sleeping was a brilliant way to pass time. It had been so awful sleeping in the heat so he slept whenever he could to catch up on what he'd missed tossing and turning in the night. He was quite happily asleep now until a little paw nudged his shoulder and a soft voice suddenly spoke in his ear.
"No." He murmured simply, red eyes not even opening for a second to glance at this new little sister they had. Though he hadn't exactly warmed up to her just yet, this reaction wasn't to be mean, he would do the same thing if any of his brothers had tried to disturb him. He wasn't ready to move just yet and so he wouldn't.
