It was indeed a kick to to the stomach for the young man. The fact that Kapra and Katja had nearly taken his friend and sold her as a slave left him feeling uncertain, feeling scared. What if something had happened? What if he had never seen her again? Hypnos knew he belonged with wolves like them but... Still... He worried for his friend. For her family. Hypnos would shake his head, his voice soft.

“There is no reason for you to apologize Mystic. You’ve done nothing wrong. The young man would find it hard to keep her gaze, swallowing hard. “That’s just... That’s how they were raised. They see the world differently than other families do. I just... I’m really sorry you were their target.” The young man would lift his gaze up to her. “They’re not really bad though... I...” Hypnos would hesitate.

“Mystic... I’m living with them now.” He’d say softly. “Do you hate me for it?”
