The young Destruction grinned brightly up at his father, moving to settle in. He sat upon his haunches infront of him, his tail swishing to cover his paws. He had grown a lot in the past months, at nearly a year old he was almost to his full height, which seemed to be catching well up to his father. But he was rather... light still. Almost too much so. If his legs weren't so long he was sure he'd be a lot shorter, high body held little weight to it. He wasn't skin and bones, though, he still had a good ammount of puppy fat and his fur was rather thick. Nothing to be concerned with. So even sitting he seemed almost taller than his father as he laid down, which was...rather weird. When Bass asked what he'd like to learn he hummed softly and looked around. He already knew a lot of flora names, but he seemed rather lacking on the fauna. "Animali" He said with a smile. But when Bass went on to compliment him, his sky blue eyes grew wide and he quickly looked down. "I-I'm no fighter.." He whispered softly, shaking his head. It was wonderful to hear such a thing from his father, but he knew that his purpose was to heal, not harm. He could only protect his family when they were hurt, he couldn't stop them from getting hurt. "That's Lark's job.." He lifted his gaze then, smiling softly with a gentle tilt of his head. He knew his father was a fighter as well, and the woman of their family seemed more inclined to healing. And here Starling was, rather lacking masculinity compared to his other brothers. And he looked down again. "Y-you're not...upset I l-like flowers, right?" He said softly, wondering just how much power and strength meant to his father. Starling was smart, intelligent...he just constantly tripped over his own paws. An awkward child, one that could be...rather embarrassing...
