Fate was the first of the two children to arrive at the scene, another fish with him it seemed he had quite taken to the method of hunting after his big brother had taught him how to catch them. She'd certainly feel proud for both of the boys for that little success; Aslan for being a better teacher than he'd realised he could be and Fate for clearly learning very well. "Hello Fate, you'll have to wait and see." She informed him, she wasn't exactly going to fill one pup in on the details and give him a head start in the search or repeat herself. She was sure Luck wouldn't be long anyway.
Sure enough there was the dainty girl appearing now. In the way that Aslan had always seemed overgrown, little Luck seemed too small in comparison to her other siblings. Her shy demeanour certainly left her appearing all the more delicate as well. "Is everything ok Luck?" Novella questioned, she seemed a little unsure from the questioning way that she addressed her.
Once she had been reassured, it was time to move onto the lesson that at least one of her children was surely eagerly awaiting. "Today we're going to start learning how to track things." Novella began to explain. "It's a very important part of hunting, being able to actually locate your prey. You can use eyes, ears and nose to find them, looking for tracks or signs that they've passed through the area. Listen for movements or sounds that can point out which direction they might be in and of course your nose can pick up their trails as well." By now they'd of course learnt about their different senses but did they know how to use them efficiently for finding their food? She would pause and let the information settle and of course let them ask any questions if they had any.
