Phim thought he was alone, and not that the idea of company was unpleasant, the sudden intrusion did cause him to jump. That was on bad thing to be said about the beach, the constant noise was a drain on his senses. He tossed a gaze over his shoulder and found another young male. He looked to be about Phim's age, but quite a bit smaller. Seraphim grinned a wide, inviting smile. He tried to catch the boy's scent but the brine of the ocean overpowered all else. "Hi there!" he exclaimed. "What is there to be afraid of?" The way he saw it, he was Valentine's son and Valentine was the strongest, most amazing leader in the land and he wouldn't let anything hurt them! It was entirely naive, but that was the product of his lack of education when it came to the sea. In all likelihood one of his caregivers had taught him and his siblings about the sea, but Phim probably just hadn't been paying attention... |
