Coincidently, the very wolf who she had hoped to meet was fortunately within her vicinity. She was looking forward to her longer walk down to the falls, however, it all had to shoved aside now that her current plan had changed. It took her a while longer to notice his presence, perhaps a few moments after his own sighting. The distinct scent of salt boldly wavered through the air, which was probably why she had failed to identify his scent any sooner. After turning her head, her gaze found the male a short distance away, who remained silent with his position unchanged. He seemed a little shy, but she would be too if she had discovered her home to be gone and joined a strange new one instead. It had to be difficult, she was aware of that. However, her mind was set on greeting him more personally and welcoming him further. Secretly, the thought of talking to someone other than family now happened to excite her. She wanted to make him feel right at home by telling him all about the pack from the laws to the learning opportunities. Of course, these feelings remained hidden in her mind.
She approached the other individual in a brisk trot, carrying herself further off course from the designated invisible path she had planned to travel across. She tossed her head back briefly to take advantage of the cool breezes before returning her gaze to the male. "Hello, I hope I'm not bothering you," She would hate to introduce herself and attempt to engage in an interesting conversation to learn that he already had plans of his own. It wasn't likely he had any jobs or duties to fulfil, seeing as he had recently joined, but it was mere courtesy for her to ask anyway. "I don't think we've formally met yet. I'm Varda." She offered a small smile upon her warm and lively expression as she articulately finished with her name. Normally, she never began with introductions but since he had provided his own name back in the north a while ago, she felt the need to start with an introduction. She couldn't remember if her father had introduced her and brother or not. It all seemed so long ago, yet here she was now, welcoming the newest addition to Threar.
