Though her stance and expression were far from threatening, she was certainly guarded. She knew little of Abaven. The fact that Kassander had trusted them as an ally during the siege spoke volumes, though she was unwilling to trust them blindly, not without speaking to this Allen fellow first. It seemed Abaven was a quite peaceful pack, though one detail intrigued her. "And you two rule together?" she would probe, merely curious. In reality, it was refreshing to see a pack ruled by two wolves other than a mate pair. Her eyes glimmered with interest. "And how does your pack measure justice, Allen?" Another question, spoken merely out of curiosity. Who had the right to claim they enforce justice? She'd asked Kassander the same question, and though she'd been impressed by his passion and his perseverance, she hadn't been entirely sold on his idea of justice. "Is it something you and Bass decide?" There was no hint of malice in her inquiry -- only gentle, probing curiosity and a fierce desire to understand Abaven if she wished to ally with them or not. |
