Isolde had hardly looked at Soliloquy after the battle, Rhythm had briefly filled her in but the chocolate girl seemed eager to get away. Isolde was thrown out with two out of three children. She still didn't know where Ceasar had gone. Life had been more than confusing, and settling back into life with freedom had its fair share of challenges as well. Winter was in full swing, the discomfort of her heat had her mostly occupied. Solioquy wasn't around to sedate her raging hormones. Not that he'd be able to now anyway, her gaze would narrow as she found herself looking at the ground as she thought about what had happened to Sol. What price he had paid for his family to be free.

The girl would lounge in the snow, huffing at the thought. She could understand why Soliloquy had run off, but he hadn't even let her say thank you or goodbye or anything. He'd left her once before, when she'd told him she was pregnant. Even if he did come back to her she wasn't sure she even wanted him anymore. Twice he'd run, she had obviously become an afterthought to him. As it was he didn't even notice that he was walking right past her. A few meters away the wolf would walk, purpose was gone from his gait and he looked like he might have belonged in the grave rather than above the ground.

Her ears would fall to her head as she watched him, he really was a different wolf to the one she'd met so long ago. Lifting herself from the earth her dark paws would carry her to him, not for an embrace or some heart warming reunion. They were beyond that. But rather a final goodbye, she wanted to show him appreciation for the sacrifice he'd endured for his family. "Soliloquy," She'd start breathlessly and would pause as though she were thinking about what she wanted to say. "Thank you." Her course would halt, after she'd said her peace she'd let him continue on out of her life if that was what he wished.
