He was late to the party, and boy, was it a party he regretted being late to. A devious smile split across his lips as he approached the scene, noting that Valentine had succeeded in besting Cascade and was now squaring off against a woman he'd seen before but couldn't name. Most of the wolves and creatures had their backs turned to him, and he tried his best to see who else was spectating. Mercy wasn't there, which was surprising. Perhaps she was off fighting another tiger. Lysis wasn't either, and he wondered where on earth his sister had gone off to to be missing an event such as this. Rhythm wasn't even there. Kyarst felt oddly out of place without any of them to congregate near, and so he would settle off to the side, nearly parallel to the lion, with Valentine and Esti in between. Eyes fell upon the large feline almost instantly, and he found himself bristling out of instinct. There was little he could do, because the beast had been invited, but that didn't mean he had to like it. Being tardy to the party also meant that he had no clue whom was next in Valentine's spar-a-thon, but he knew he wanted in. "Count me in," he snuck in as Valentine was setting his defenses. He wasn't going to simply watch the fun, he wanted to be a part of the main event. His haunches graced the earth, tail curling neatly around his hips. He would watch this spar closely and learn a little bit about how Valentine liked to fight, it might not benefit him much - but it sure couldn't hurt.
