Shifting Shadows
Shaking the blood from his face the boy seemed to calm down almost immediately, if you could call it that. Squirrel went still, forelegs propping up the front half of his body in an awkward half laying down and half sitting position, sides rising and falling rapidly with his breathing, eyes wide and watching the stranger. He would remain motionless when the wolf spoke, large eyes looking to the weird stuff she had before quickly going back to her face. She said it was going to feel weird but the bleeding would stop, that was good, Squirrel liked that.
Eyes closed tightly as the female came in and applied the cobwebs, flinching at first because he wasn't sure what to expect. And just like that she was done, his eyes opening slowly, revealing some confusion. He tilted his head first left, paused, then to the right, trying to see the cobwebs she put on him. His attention was refocused on the woman when she spoke again, telling informing the boy that in order for his head to stop hurting and heal thy would need o get out of this hole, asking if he could walk and allowing him to lean on her if he had to.
Squirrel nodded his head carefully, trying not to make the stuff fall off the wound on his head. Forelimbs spread, trying to distribute his weight as he leaned forward to give his back legs some room to slide beneath him. When it came to actually standing though he would clearly have a bit of trouble, limbs shaking. It wouldn't stop the boy however, he would keep lifting himself till he was full standing beside the woman, looking up to her for praise. |
