His slower pace would eventually lead him to Aslan's scent, as well as another one that was slightly more alarming. Had his yearling children been younger he would have really panicked, but as Aslan was a very large boy (man? could frith bring himself to call his boy a man?) there was little more than curiosity and maybe a desire to run her off his land. It was probably a good thing that he would come upon his son first, his ears perked and his senses a bit more alert with a cat lurking. He'd quickly close the distance between himself and the taller chocolate form. "Aslan," He'd give him a quick nod, for once not offering his affections first of all. "Are you hunting, cat?" He questioned, knowing that the felines could steal their food as well as small pups.
