Calypsei’s tail would wave slowly from side to side in a casual manner as her friend informed her that he was feeling fine as usual. He asked if they wanted to walk and she let a small smile grace her lips. “Yes, I’d love to walk.” She would say as she started to take casual steps towards the plains that connected to the rapids. As a girl of the ocean, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that she was headed towards water. “I talked to Allen, and he said I can start training towards a promotion and that next fight training, he’ll keep and closer eye on me to see if I get it.” She was excited to share the news, or anything in general that made her forget her conversation with Lark, which still bothered her whenever she thought about it.
She appeared fine, but she was mentally shutting down any kind of talk that wasn’t small talk or something that had happened before, and she wasn’t entirely sure why.
