Grinning wildly, Laufey trotted into the meeting. Shining brightly in the gloom, his eyes glittered with a fierce light. The fighting was over, but his heart still hammered on, pumping his veins full of restless energy. He was on edge and aggressively giddy. His wounds ached, and one on his shoulder protesting painfully with each step, but he ignored it.
A querying voice reached his ears and while the question probably wasn't directed at him, he answered nonetheless. "Indeed we have!" he roared. Much blood had been spilled on both sides and it had been wonderful. Wounds aside he felt great, like he could take on anyone and win. His tone jovial, he added merrily, "The slopes ran with it." An exaggeration? Maaaaaybe.
