Seeing that she had made it fine, he would follow her up all the way to the shore and shake as well, the water from her pelt grabbing onto him. He let out a gentle laugh as she stated how cold it was and would respond with a quiet "Yeah..."

But before they could explore the island she would tell him her name. He hadn't even thought about it, sometimes a name wasn't necessary. It was also easy to forget such things, at least for Amarant.

"Amarant." He replied, "It's nice to meet you Ellisa."

And without another thought he would look at her with a friendly grin and begin to move his way forward. He wasn't here to look for his brother, he was here to explore. If Colten happened to pop up that would be a dream come true. But so far he hadn't caught the man's scent. He knew he wasn't on this island.
