His name was Amarant, an interesting name to match equally interesting spots. “Same here.” She responded, watching him walk off briefly before quickly catching up and tailing him on his left side. Amber eyes scanned over the sand around them, narrowing as she spotted something out in the water off to their side. It looked liked a grey stone poking out the water's surface, causing the girl to pause mid-step, head tilting, trying to think about what it could be. Just as she looked to the boy to call him and look to, the thing disappeared. Ellisa frowned a bit but she would turn away and quickly come up beside the boy, shaking her head.
”Do you think there are any prey here, besides birds of course?” She would ask curiously, lifting her skull to watch as they flew around each other and squacked. It wasn't till hunger just hit her now that the girl thought about the idea of other animals possibly being here. The island didn't look big, and there was little forestry to hide larger animals, leaving a lot of sand and short vegetation. Would there be any sort of rabbit, mice, or even squirrels for them to catch?
