Can You See What I See?

Annette walked throughout her parent's territory, eyes focused upon the trees and different shubbery; however, the young couldn't see a thing. Sadness would well up inside of her, but she sighed and sat down, hanging her head low slightly. How she wished she could see the landscape once again. A small whimper would escape from her vocal region. Every time, it would seem that the entire world had been trying to test her multiple times. She had always gotten herself messed up in bad situations, the worse being with the mountain lion. Annette knew that she should have stayed home where her family was, but, her efforts had been short lived when she had tried to outrun the lion, causing her to recieve the gashes across her face. It was a miracle that she was still alive.
She pinned back her ears when she happened to hear the sound of someone approaching. Her other senses were on full alert since her vision was out of commission. The smell of a wolf, a male who seemed to be much older than she, caught her attention. She pulled her ears back and gave a small growl, knowing that she was still young, but, if she was going to be attacked, she might as well act that she knew what she was doing. Though, she was worried that he would kill her without holding back.
