He hadn't actually realized Anais had slipped away, but when she returned there was a light in her eyes that had warmed his own heart. She had gushed about the pups, and he had eagerly listened. There seemed to be a baby boom happening all about them. Voltage had his little ones, and it seemed members of Anais's family where also getting in on the faze. He had chuckled at the thought and he also couldn't help but wonder if Anais wanted little ones of her own... In curiosity he had made his way over to Fern Gully, he didn't want to disturb them too much, they where currently living there and had little ones to feed. He decided to do a little hunting before he imposed and he began to track a hare through the ferns, following its scent a little ways before he caught sight of it. When he did, he lowered his body and crept a few paces closer, his tail swishing in expectation behind him as he prepared to leap. "Speech"

He.. shouldn't be here. But it was so fun! And he wanted to prove to Mommy and Daddy that he was a big boy now. He didn't just have to eat and sleep and play with his sisters! He was big now, and he had to prove he was a big boy and he could help provide for his sisters and Mommy like Daddy and Uncle Spencer did. Of course, he didn't realize just how big things were! Some of these plants towered over him and he just hated it. He snapped at them at first, but some hurt his teeth and they tasted really bad.

And he had been searching for a while, finding nothing, and he was getting tired and - he froze as he smelled something delicious. A rabbit! He tried that before. It took only a few more steps and he saw it, and he crouched down, puppy butt wiggling in the air as he crept even more forward, excitement almost making him bounce - and it was then he saw the giant blue beast. He was blue, he liked the color blue, but this thing was huge! And it was after the rabbit! He stayed frozen, eyeing the giant thing.

"Speech"

Unaware of the little pup that had caught sight of him, he raised his hunched, eyes intent only on his prey before he leaped on powerful legs and covered the short distance in a heart beat. The poor creature had a moment only to freeze in terror before the rabbit was his and he killed it swiftly and mercilessly. He grabbed it in his mouth, turned to make his way to the den of Anais's family... and paused. The titan saw the little one, who had eyes only for him and as Glacier's eyes moved over him, the mountainous beast grinned. He gently placed his kill on the ground and lowered his own weight to the earth. He knew his dire-wolf height offered scared others. In fact, once it had terrified Anais until she had seen the cuddly bear he actually was inside. “Hey little one” he said gently, soothingly, in an attempt to draw him from his fright. “That's a pretty neat color you have, we almost match, see?” he moved a paw a little bit closer, inviting the little one to come compare pelt colors if he so desired. “Whats your name little one? I'm Glacier Elementas” he introduced himself. Was this one of the little ones Anais had spoken of? Surely they would be younger then this? "Speech"

  

Ren's frozen figure slowly thawed as the creature killed the rabbit, and he stared in awe. He killed it! In one hit! He wanted to do that! He started to move towards the beast, confidence returning when the man fixed a silvery gaze on him. The pup froze again, paw in the air, a sheepish expression at having been caught on his face. He may have had a secret desire to surprise the thing? Maybe? He watched silently as the other lowered himself to the ground, and his eyes widened even more. He was huge! But at least he could actually not strain to see the face. Well. Okay. He still had to, but he wasn't practically upside down like he was before.

When he spoke, Ren bounded forward again, like the tide broke. The boy placed a paw on Glacier's, before looking into his eyes. "Y-you're so big! And blue! Like me!" he stammered at forst, noting that his paw was like... not even half the size of Glacier's, but that evened out as he spoke more. "Will I get as big as you?" he asked, tail whirring behind him. The name made him blink. Glacier? "G...waca?" he tried, annoyance crossing his face as he tried to prnounce it - this name was hard! Zephy and Kate and Nixie were easy, and so was his! "I'm Ren! Ren A-guh--too-muh!" He spoke the last bit slowly, intent on trying to pronounce it right. He failed, again, and a huff left his lips

The pups surprise seemed only momentary before he was bounding towards Glacier. He placed his paw over Glacier's, as the Alpha had indicated and the Mountain grinned at the huge size difference between the tiny creature and his own giant's paw. The young ones eyes where a teal blue not too dissimilar from the blush that framed the underside of each silver eye. It was almost a reversal since the young one had a white line under his own. He grinned at these odd similarities, he hadn't seen another so like him before. Even his own family where widely different to him, in size as well as coloration. “I don't know, little one, you can only wait and see” he teased, dire wolf wasn't a comment trait through it did seem to show itself every once in a while. For Glacier, it was a throw back from one of great grandparents that didn't show in anyone else the next two generations. The Alpha laughed as the little on struggled to form his name. “Call me Giant, if that's easier” he teased softly. So this one was called Ren was he? He would have to ask Anais about him. “well its a pleasure to meet you, Ren. Would you like some rabbit?” he asked the little one. "Speech"

  

"Ugh," the pup groaned before flopping over, paw now next to the giant foot of the elder man. His nose wrinkled cutely as he was laughed at; tongue poked out of his mouth in an impolite, pup-like 'screw you'. It was all rather silly, and Ren wasn't really angry at all... plus the man gave him an easier name to say, which made the tiny pup's tail flail about - as if he hadn't figured out how to properly wag his tail. Which he hadn't. But that was alright.

Mouth watered, and the two month pup nodded eagerly, not even realizing that he ought to say the same to Glacier. "Yes!" he yipped, bouncing up and wriggling in front of Glacier. Oh, did he! He was allowed some the other day, just a little, and even though it tired out his jaw and he drank some milk after it was so good! Milk was good too, but this was better. He'd poke his nose into the adult's mouth, too, to get him to regurgitate some of the meat but.... he wanted to try chewing on his own again!

"Speech"

Glacier definitely had a soft spot for little ones. He wondered what it would be like to have some mites of his own running underfoot. He wanted to spend all the time in the world with Voltage's children and here was another little one he could practically call family, through his bond with Anais. The boys deep blue tail flailed behind him and the Giant laughed softly, leaning his nose closer to the little ones face. It was true that Glacier wasn't fully world wise when it came to pups, his interactions with them thus far had been fairly minimal. He had known his siblings when they where tiny, for only a short while before he and Voltage where cast from the family. he wasn't certain if the pup could eat the meat, but after all he had been attempting to hunt it himself before Glacier had taken it down (not realizing as he did so that another had been eyeing it up) so it wouldn't hurt to offer and the pup quickly agreed, so the Alpha nudged the kill over to the pup with a giant paw. "Speech"

  

When that giant nose came near his face, Ren took initiative and licked it, before gnawing on it briefly as a pup should and would do. It was a nose! Near his mouth! Why wouldn't he chew on it? It was silly to think he wouldn't. He then fell on the kill when offered, nosing it around and pawing at it. The thing was huge! As big as him! He spotted the tooth marks where Glacier killed it, a slight tear, and he gnawed on it... only to get a tantalizing hint of the meat within and getting fur stuck in his teeth. With a whine, he sat up, lips bared in a snarl as he tried to pick fur out of his teeth. Ugh. He just wanted to eat!

Glacier jerked slightly in surprise when a little pink tongue snaked out and licked across his nose, he laughed a moment later, his grin easy as he eyed the cheekily little one. He didn't protest when the lick turned into a bite. His teeth where still growing, and well they where sharp they barely left a dent on Glacier's leathery nose. The kill distracted the pup, freeing Glacier's nose, which he shook and pulled back a little as he watched the pup tear into the food. He hoped he wasn't doing wrong by the pup, letting it eat adult food like this. Perhaps he should have found its parents first.. Glacier chuckled again, as the adorable little creature pulled back, bearing his teeth in a funny gesture and Glacier lifted his paw, and carefully with a single claw he hooked the fur from the pups teeth and gently tugged it out. After that, Glacier tore up the kill, skillfully tearing away the skin and fur and leaving a nice big hole that led access to the soft meat inside. He pulled out some of the softer parts of the meat and left those on top for the pup to gnaw at. "Speech"

  

The boy froze as the paw came at him, and he stayed still as the law scrapped against his tooth... and the funny feeling went away! Just like that, his cheerfulness returned, and the pup's tail wiggled behind him. Actually, he just wiggled in general, showing his thanks in the only way the excitable pup could remember how... and that wiggling increased when Glacier tore the rabbit up, promptly making the pup salivate, and perhaps, maybe, just drool. A little bit. The pup pounced on the now trn kill, teeth sinking into the thing Glacier put on top. He dragged it away, eyes focused as he gnawed on it. He splattered blood everywhere... but it was so good! And he wasn't making too much progress but... again, it was good and worth it and warm and steamy and mmmm.

"Speech"

Glacier laughed softly at the little one's reaction, he had to admit he was utterly defenseless to the charms of the young, but he was also totally lost, he did not know how to care for and look after one that set him thinking, was it something that came naturally when you had a litter of your own, or did you blunder on and hope for the best? He watched as the pup found it much easier to tear into the food after Glacier's assistance. The Alpha sat down on the earth and waited a while, wondering if this little adventure might not just get them both into trouble. He would have to clean up the little one and bring it back home before either of them where caught... The Alpha grinned at the thought, he felt like a kid weary about getting into trouble. "Speech"

  

It was only a few minutes before the boy was stuffed. Rabbit insides were quite filling, after all, especially since he was chewing it all himself and whatnot. The boy scooted back, nosing the rest of the rabbit at Glacier. He knew adults ate a lot more than he did, but he knew eventually he'd be able to eat as much as them. He'd be as big as them too! Hopefully as big as Glacier, too. "Gwaysha!" he squeaked, looking between the man and the prey and nosing it more. Little tail wagged, and he bounced around to clamber up on the giant's back if allowed while the much bigger and older wolf would eat the rest of the rabbit.
