Locha Elementas

Locha stood under the willows in utter awe. Autumn had hit this tree grove full on. Around and above her were an amazing array of golden coloured leaves. The quiet rustle filled her ears as she looked around head tilted upwards. It was beautiful. Taking a few steps further, Locha noticed the small streams that trickled around the bases of each tree, reflecting the branches above. Hardly any leaves had fallen this early in the season, so the silvery pure water was free from any drifting debris.

Locha hadn't planned to take a trip that day, but that morning, she'd stood on top of the cove and seen the first rays of the sun hit this grove, lighting it up like a clear stone on the beach and she just had to explore it. Now she was glad she had. Sitting down, Locha's bblue eyes looked up, devouring the sights around her.

Áki had felt rather aimless as of late. His siblings had been scarce, and while he was not necessarily tied down by them, he did miss them quite a bit - surely he would stumble across them soon enough. For now, though, he found himself spending time in the east, often near the ocean. The lands were cooling down considerably, and he enjoyed the chill of the sea and the briny stench of the ocean during this time of year.

With the changing seasons, the foliage had begun to change too - the trees which were normally a vibrant green were not a lovely pastel of orange, yellow, and red. He felt at ease today, as he walked among the draping willow trees, without a care in the world - though he generally had few, if any. A slight yawn escaped his throat as his jaws parted, briefly stretching as he paused his wandering. It didn't take long to spot a stranger, her scent touching his nose immediately after, in the far distance. Feeling quite amiable, he would quicken his pace as he sauntered over to her, closing the distance between them in but a few minutes. "Good morning," he'd offer as he stopped a reasonable distance away, offering a toothy smile as his tusked head lowered in respect.

Locha Elementas

Watching the light filtering through the leaves and onto the reflective water was relaxing, so much so, that when Locha's gaze dropped back to the earth, she did not startle at the figure moving towards her, too much. However, any disquiet she felt was quickly eased by his friendly smile. The tall male stopped a little bit away from her sitting form. Turning to face him fully, Locha took a moment to take in this man's form. His coat was a blend of greys, with some bright red markings on his face and legs. He was tall, that was for sure, and he had a strong build. If Locha was to hazard a guess, she'd say he was only a little bit shorter than Glacier. There was a more obvious difference that this man had, and that was his two elongated teeth. This did nothing to stop Locha from returning his smile keenly.

"Good morning," A thick accent accompanied his greeting.
"Good morning to you too." she said, almost at a loss for words. She didn't want to be rude, however.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" she motioned upwards with her head.

Áki often forgot that his presence could be intimidating - or, at the very least, surprising. His size was unusual, coupled with his tusks; but still, he would never grow used to the dropped jaws or fleeting looks of fear when he met strangers. This particular wolf didn't show fear at his arrival, but certainly a bit of surprise, though she seemed quick to smile back at him.  Perhaps he might make a friend today, he thought to himself, and he chuckled lightly as she spoke.

"A beautiful day, indeed," he agreed heartily, his gaze leaving her to take another good look at the drooping willow trees that surrounded them. "The gods shine on us today," the male would echo, a somber touch to his words - he was not always so wistful but the moment had come quickly, and he'd soon shake his head as though to rid his private thoughts from the conversation. "My name is Áki, by the way," he would offer freely, with a gentle dip of his head.

Returning the man's chuckle and agreeance with a smile, Locha copied him and turned her gaze to the trees, looking at the rays of morning sun that filtered through, glinting onto the pools below. It reminded her somewhat of the way the sun sometimes filtered through the sea's waves, lighting up the glittering water and life underneath. Mesmerised as Locha was, it was only when she felt the man's gaze upon her that she turned back.

He spoke of the gods, but Locha noticed his tone turned a tad more muted. He, however, shook his head and offered his name. Áki. It was quite unique. Dipping her head, Locha shuffled a tad closer to the man before speaking.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Áki. My name's Locha. Do you live nearby?"  she asked with a slight tilt of her head.

It was a lovely morning, indeed. In a way, the draping boughs of the willow trees reminded him of limbs, stretching down from the sky to touch the earth. The silence settled lightly between them, far from uncomfortable, and he let Locha become engrossed in her thoughts for a long moment. Feeling quite serene today, he had no intention of ruining her own peace, though he couldn't deny he wondered what was going on inside her head at the moment.

"Likewise, he'd echo with a grin, his head tilting in curiosity as he turned to gaze at her once again. "I have no real home," Aki would admit this fact about himself with ease. There was no hint of sadness in his voice at his declaration. He was accustomed to being a rogue, and if he did ever find himself confined to a certain area, he was certain beyond a doubt that he would be miserable. "I travel where I wish. I am more familiar with the northern lands, though," he commented idly, for sake of conversation. "What about you?"
