Night had fallen dark and cool in the canyon. Pyralis was in a foul mood after rescuing her son from a cave in. She paced along the canyon floor while she waited for Lydia to finish tending to the fool of a boy and she didn't know whose neck she wanted to wring more. She'd finally gotten into the Talis territories to complete her self-given mission only to be pulled out of it before she could even really get to exploring. She was furious at Lydia for calling her back and furious at her son for getting stuck in the first place. She had a goal to do and her obsessive personality was driving her to complete it as swiftly as she could and she wasn't the least bit pleased that her plans weren't going the way she wanted them to. Pyralis swatted a rock and watched it skip across the river to the other side of the canyon. She needed to have a talk with Ashiel… but first she needed to deal with Lydia. This was the last straw.
