The sky was a stoney gray, though it was spring, preparing to release rain upon to the world. Féli kept his eyes closed, feeling the wind brush over his fur as he laid within the range, his ears listening for the sounds of those whom might be passing through. He hadn’t been interacting with Mara’s family all that much anymore. He’d fallen into a more reclusive state… as the man half expected he would as he grew older. He hadn’t seen Zephyr… and the older brute wondered what his other protege was up to. Hell, it felt like life was just ready to pass him now a days. But Félicien wasn’t worried about that. He’d continue to live his life as he always had… though admittedly the man was feeling a bit more melancholic with the way things were.

He hadn’t taken on an official job in… goodness knew how long. It felt strange...but also rather refreshing in a way too. He did, however, feel a lack of purpose. It almost felt like he was waiting… but waiting for what? What could be so important that he’d live a different life than his youth?

The brute furrowed his brow and allowed his silver eyes to open. Whatever it was… it was bound to be big.

It had been years since she had stepped foot on these lands...had time really passed that fast? Green eyes surveyed the land, feeling the wind brush through her fur as the sky above was dark with rain. Taking a deep breath, she exhaled slowly as she looked around. She couldn't recall this place, though she didn't think she had ever been anywhere but the north lands since she was a pup. Ah..that was it...she hadn't even been in Boreas since she had been a pup...but those memories had faded away long ago to be replaced by better things. Her kidnap, her enslavement, the war...it was all but a memory. Though she did dream of it on occasion, but that's all it was to her. A dream. Sometimes a bad one, sometimes not. She could vaguely remember the time spent with her mother and her siblings, though she knew that she would probably never see them again. Her mother for sure would have died long ago, so now it was just...her.

Swallowing back the looming threat of tears, she continued on her way until something on the wind had caught her attention. The tiny woman stopped, tasting the air as she tried to sort out the scents of rain, grass, and other creatures. Soon enough, she picked out the scent of another wolf. A male. And a loner, just like her. Having lived alone almost her entire life, she had begun to crave some sort of company. And so it would be this craving that drove her to seek out this other.

It didn't take her long to find him at all, the lone male lying atop a small hill overlooking the range. She needed to know where she was, to see if she was heading in the right direction. But even she didn't know where she was going...she didn't have a destination, really. Part of her wanted to return to the place she had last seen her family, but the other part of her figured it would probably be for the best not to. There was nothing here or there for her, so her journey was fruitless. "Excuse me," Her voice was soft, laced with age as the years often did to creatures. She was no young pup anymore, no. Her life was more than half over,
and so she feared nothing. Not even death. "Can you please tell me where I am?" She stopped a yard or so from the man, tired green gaze on him as she waited.
