He had stayed his distance and had remained as quiet as he could. This pray was sharp as a tack and he wasn't about to tip them off to his presence. They were also nasty buggers that he couldn't take on alone. Sure they had little ones, but their mother would have no problem defending them. He was hidden observing the Boar rooting around in the dirt. One sow with babies, one young female, two young male, and an older male. Again he didn't want to attack one alone so he observed for a target. His eyes would go to one Boar and watch for a while then onto the next looking for any sign of sickness or weakness. All seemed perfectly find at first, until he scanned back over. His eyes zeroed in on the older male who was limping now that he was moving along. He seemed awful slow as he moved and would seem to be the perfect target for a hunt.

Now that his target was picked he quietly backed out of his spot and moved a distance away from the small group. He moved far enough where they wouldn't spook if he called out trying to round up some help in this hunt. When he felt he was far enough he tipped his head back ad howled looking for anyone nearby up for a hunt.

ooc: Looking for 2+ participates for this hunt

Winter was gone, his children were whelped.. there was no greater time to come back and deliver on his promise to help provide for Lirim than now. He had been traveling toward Lirim already when the call for help rang out, it seemed his timing could not have been more adequate. He was surprised to hear the call so close to Ruina borders, it seemed he didn't have to travel very far at all. He recognized the sound of Frostbite's howl immediately and.. it was quite nice to hear the sound of a friendly rather than a stranger. A faint smirk tugged at his lips, the closest to a smile that could come from the male at the moment.

He followed the call until the Lirim alpha was in his sight, ruby gaze flickering with an intensity as he stared. So far, it seemed no one else had answered this call though Elias had no doubt that others would. With relaxed shoulders and a head level with his own spine, the marred wolf stepped forward and offered a respectful dip of his crown.

"I figured it was about time to make good on my word. What have we got today?" He uttered, his head lifting toward the end of his words. Nostrils flared as he took in the scent of boar in the air, the audible sound of his exaggerated inhaling filling the silence of the moment.

"Mmm, good choice." His words were spoken gruff and grim through thick and saliva coated teeth, a dark and menacing chuckle delivered toward the end. Boar was his favorite, and although his primary motivator for coming by was to help find food for Lirim, he couldn't resist perhaps snagging a piglet for himself, as well. Ever the opportunist, Elias was.

He was a year old now and responsible enough to know to return to lirim on a daily basis if he left the territory. Hed trained himself with long runs and trying to hone his battle skills against the trees of the territory. It had left spots where his fur was shorter but he didnt care much.

He was on one of his outings when he heard a call from frost. Surprising the Male even needed help. Though what better way to prove yourself than aid an alpha? He turned in that direction and his pace picked up. Hed arrive in record time for his usual ways. He came up on Frost's right side. His eyes automatically scanning the quarry frost had chose. Boar. Tough but Blaise looked forward to the challenge.he was young but easily matched Frost's height and more. He was quiet, thoughtful and methodical. Anyone could tell he was picking out the target he wanted most. "The sow there, she's nursing, but she keeps all but the runt close. The runt would be the easiest piglet, but that boar there, he limps and is old. Easier than a runty boar." he was speaking quietly but he looked to frostbite after he said so. He didn't want approval as much as he did the respect of everyone around him. His face was stern in its look. He didnt have time for fun or games. And it showed easily. He doubted his brothers or sisters would have the gall to show up and tell on themselves that they were outside of lirims borders.

It didn't feel like a vary long wait at all in fact the first that arrived had been a vary familiar face. The large dark form of Elias himself appeared. Frost returned the respect, dipping his head to Elias in return. It was good to work with familiar faces, especially for a successful hunt. Then he began to test the wind, Frost supposed it was to see what the meal was.

He didn't have the time to reply before he was stating that it was a good choice. Frost grinned at the male and nodded his head. He loved the taste of the boar and he hoped they could bring at least some pack for the pack. Then shortly after another familiar coat appeared. Though it was one that the wasn't expecting to see. The male had only just hit a year and he was already outside of the packlands, but maybe he had simply fallowed Frost? Frost couldn’t be sure and right now wasn’t the time to discuss it. The boy was big, but Frost was still a bit uncomfortable letting him in on the potentially dangerous quarry. Last thing he needed was one of the younger members getting hurt.

No one else came. So Frost decided they would have to let Blaise join. Two experienced hunters will hopefully help him from getting hurt. Blaise had picked out a target, a limping boar. Thought the bigger choice would provide more meat, boars were dangerous. Looking to Elias he hoped to gain his input on the pick.

“They can be dangerous,” he stated.

The younger male showing up and ignoring his existence entirely was off-putting at first, though after he started to speak about his pick it was apparent that this hunter was simply.. focused. He was in that predatory zone that brought a slight smirk to Elias' lips. He knew what that felt like, but the overconfidence dripping off his words prevented Eli from approving of their other hunting partner right away. The thought of attempting to take down an adult boar without getting hit, even with a limp, was nearly unfathomable to the experienced boar hunter. After the first couple gores from their tusk that Elias had received on his hunts, and the agonizing days of limited mobility that followed while he healed, prevented him from hunting adult males again. He stuck to sows and piglets that strayed too far from their bull.

Still, he was young and ambitious like this man once. He reminded himself that this was a member of Lirim, and a friend of his friend- Frostbite. His eyes leered back to the other alpha as he thought over their choices. Finally, he decided to speak his mind.. as.. politely filtered as possible.

"That boar's tusks are long enough to pierce through your ribcage and right into your lungs. The way he throws his neck is not affected by the broken leg he has healed in the past and caused him to limp, he will still toss those tusks at you with strength enough to break your own leg and give you the very same limp." He flicked an ear, turning to face the younger male now as he explained.

"It would be more profitable for us to take down a boar his size as opposed to just one little runty piglet, but there is a reason he is still the only bull in this family. He is still strong, and it would be better for one of us to lure him away and avoid every possibility of injury from those tusks. If we play this right, two of us could stay behind and take down sow and piglets. There is still a risk for injury, but bruises and fractures are easier to heal than penetrated internal organs. And, we would still dine like Kings." He offered a flash of his teeth in a slight smile to the younger male before turning to Frost.

"Unless you are here for those tusks, I can imagine the possibilities of weaponry that can be crafted from them would be appealing. Whatever the case is, I am here to get bloody just as well as you two." A smirk and a charming glint of those brilliant red eyes said everything about his eagerness to assist in this particular hunt.
