Firefly Festival: Fishing Derby
What would a summer festival be without a fishing derby? Go try to fish up something from the waters, but be warned.. more than just fish lurk in those depths! Rumor has it that a mysterious, freakishly large golden fish has been spotted off the shores, and the lucky participant to catch this particular fish will be rewarded something extra special!
How To Play
- Go fishing! Please thread with at least one other player, not with yourself.
- As long as your character is actively hunting something in the water, you're able to attempt to catch a fish once per post. Your post will be edited by admins to note that an attempt to fish has been made.
- While the posts need to be fishing-focused in order for a fishing attempt to be made, other things can certainly be happening during these threads - conversation, fishing lessons, etc. Feel free to use these for skill claims as long as they apply!
- Once your character catches 10 fish, they'll be too exhausted to continue fishing for the rest of the festival!
- If they're a Beginner Hunter or higher, with at least 5 skill points in hunting, they can catch one extra fish!
- Each attempt will be randomly rolled, with a chance of success/failure, as well as a roll for fish size. Heavier fish will be worth more tickets!
Please post all fishing threads here, and link all fishing attempts in the Discord channel fishing-derby! They will be deleted as they are rolled.
